Uncompensated crystal oscillators are the most common type of
oscillator used and find application in virtually every aspect of the
electronics industry. The most simple crystal oscillator consists of an
amplifier with feedback through a crystal resonator. More sophisticated
devices may utilize buffer amplifiers, frequency overtone crystal
resonators, tri-state output, and additional frequency multiplication.
QuartzPro has a well established and documented expertise designing and
producing uncompensated crystal oscillators. However, our focus on
customer specific, high precision crystal products makes uncompensated
oscillators a natural, even if smaller, part of our business
