The Swedish company Quartz Pro is now challenging the conditions of the crystal oscillator market by introducing a new revolutionary manufacturing process. The patented process enables Quartz Pro to mass-produce their product, Quartz Pro x-act™ targeted at the high-speed communication industry.

Until now, crystal manufacturing has been a craftsmanship, with a production yield varying between 30 and 70 per cent. The new process developed by Quartz Pro is a clean, fully automated process with a production yield above 90 per cent. The result is that the lead time is reduced by a factor of two while consistent high product performance is maintained.
